Eve is nesting

Eve has started nesting and has been carrying around one of Alex's toys like it's a baby. Very cute!

Xray Results

We went in for Eve's xray yesterday, and it showed 6 puppies! Yay! Not much longer now. She is very big and getting uncomfortable, but hanging in there. I'll post again after puppies arrive.

Puppies are on the way!!!

We just got back from the vet about an hour ago with great news! Eve is pregnant! The vet was able to count at least 5-6 heartbeats and there could very well be more tucked up where she couldn't see them. I'm so excited! Eve has definitely been losing her girlish waistline lately, so I was pretty sure she was pregnant, but it's great to have it confirmed. She's been extremely cuddly, especially at night.

Eve has been bred! Now all we can do is wait. We will hopefully find out in about a month if she is in whelp.

Eve is in heat!

Eve came into heat on Saturday! The time has finally come; with any luck we'll have some puppies soon! I'll post more news as it occurs. I'll be aiming to do an ultrasound to confirm if she's pregnant sometime after the breedings.
